Bulldog Pitts S2S This is my Pitts S2S in the colours of Jim Leroy's Bulldog. I had the pleasure of meeting Jim at the 2000 Abbotsford Air Show, where I was fortunate enough to help hold a pole for the ribbon cut portion of his routine. I've always wanted a Pitts, so when it came time to design and build one, only one colour scheme would do. I designed the plane from a 3 view and pictures of the real Bulldog. The S2S is balsa construction with sheeted foam wings, a vacuum formed canopy and a sheet balsa cowl. This plane is a real performer and a lot of fun. Here's what Jim had to say about it:
"I haven't actually seen the model Bulldog in person, but after looking at
the pics and the videos I was amazed at the accuracy and detail, as well as the
"true to life" look in the air. I had to order one for myself."
